Description
Penicillin (Penicillin G) inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting peptidoglycan synthesis. Streptomycin belongs to the aminoglycoside antibiotics and inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting protein synthesis. Penicillin-Streptomycin is used for prevention and elimination of bacterial contaminants in cell culture.
